Oh boy,
This work-from-home / isolation / social distancing thing has thrown my routine and schedule right out the window. I am a creature of habit and I love optimization. Some of you may have gathered from past breakfasts that I am somewhat obsessively trying to develop the best schedule in my life that optimizes both my personal and professional performance to the highest degree. Coming out of 2019, I was very motivated to turn the next decade into The Roaring Twenty-Twenties. Unfortunately, I’ve never considered the black swan event of a pandemic and how that would impact my routines, habits and schedules. This has thrown a wrench into my yearly goals, my summer plans and I’m definitely close to becoming part of the COVID-19lbs club.
So lets get together this Thursday and have a virtual breakfast. Same great time. I know…. I know….. 7:30 is early to be eating breakfast when you’ve been rolling out of bed at 8:25 every day; but treat this as the first step in attempting to re-establish good habits. I certainly will be. I’ve pushed the meeting time by 1hr so that our friends from Vancouver can join.
Agenda and discussion questions will commence at 7:30AM, but I encourage everyone to join the call at 7:00 to cook breakfast together.
